2007 Runs         

 

23 Aug 2007 - Rescue 5 and 505 responded to a  allergic reaction. Crews arrived on scene to find a 5 year old male patient complaining of "itchy mouth" with a large rash over 75% of his body. Pt's mother stated he was bitten by a unknown amount of fire ants and began not feeling well.. Crews on scene contact EMS and requested launch of the helo to transport the patient to Sacred Heart Pensacola for treatment.
Crews along with EMS stabilized the patient until Air Heart 3 arrived to transport the patient.

28 Feb 2007 - Engine 5-1 responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 98 just east of the county line. Crews arrived on scene to find a fully involved engine fire on a mini SUV. Crews quickly extinguished fire and reopened the highway. Unknown cause of ignition.

27 Feb 2007 - Engine 5-1, Engine 5-3, Engine 11 and Hurlburt Engine 14 responded to a mobile home fire in Lindy's mobile home park. Crews arrived on scene to find a fully involved mobile home fire. Engine 5-1 crews performed initial attack on fire with other crews in for manpower. Fire was quickly knocked down and overhaul complete. The mobile home was part of a demolish site and cause is believed to be from demo work.

23 Feb 2007 - Rescue 5 responded to a two car motor vehicle accident with one entrapment. Crews extricated patient and assisted EMS with treating four patients. EMS transported all four with no major trauma.

21 Feb 2007 - Engine 5-1, Engine 5-3 and Engine 11 responded to a reported mobile home fire on Cactus Rd. C- 5 arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the master bedroom with faint orange glow through the window. Crews searched the trailer for possible victims and extinguished the fire. Cause is still under investigation.

4 Feb 2007 - Engine 5-1, Truck 5 and Engine 11 responded to a reported structure fire on Brookwood Blvd.  DC-5 arrived on scene and reported fire was out and cancelled Engine 11 but continued Engine 5-1 and Truck 5. Crews arrived on scene to find the side of a structure with fire damage that appeared to have originated from a garbage can. Crews checked for extension and hot spots.  Unknown cause of ignition.

3 Feb 2007 - Rescue 5 and Truck 5 responded to a motor vehicle accident (vehicle vs. pedestrian).  Crews arrived on scene to find a patient, whom got ran over by a 3000 lb. sod laying machine, laying on the ground and alert.  Crews stabilized patients legs and patient was transported to the hospital. 

30 Jan 2007 - Engine 5-1, Engine 14 and Engine 11 responded to a reported structure fire at Laurent Mobile Home Park. Crews arrived on scene to find a fully involved trailer fire. Crews from Florosa, Hurlburt and Mary Esther worked quickly to get the fire under control. Despite all the FD's efforts, the trailer was a total loss. The cause is still under investigation.
